Weigh In

It's a little past 1am, Nov 28.
CW: 185lb
Which means I have lost 2lbs. Argh!
Okay I know that's 'normal' and any more than that is just water weight, etc. etc. but I really thought I could lose the first few pounds a little more quickly...just for some motivation.
Bah!
As it is my life sucks right now (I might be in love with a married man).
More about that later! Stay strong! x

Blah!


Okay, So I haven't really found time to blog the past couple of days. Been super busy with work and all that. Winter is here (finally) and I really wish it'd get colder, but I guess I have to settle :)
I'm not complaining though. Take my dog out for super long walks each evening so that's fun...Food-wise things have been 'ok'. Not bad. Not great.
The past two days my intake has been below 1000 cals - which I totally do not want - because I know that puts my body in 'starvation mode' blah blah...but sometimes it's just easier to not eat...

Anyway...moving on...my driving instructor is a total douche!! I never really cared for cars or driving, but in Muscat it's sort of hard to get around without one. So yeah, I decided to get lessons. Now I just want to get over the whole thing real quick! He's just weird! I want to change mine but the school doesn't have any other available at the time I want. Guess I'll just have to live with it. And the worst is that he doesn't even get it when I'm being rude. No, he just keeps on gabbing...and flirting! Seriously!

No plans for the Eid hols yet...Just trying to save up for my trip to Greece next year (yes!!!). :)

Day 2...

Great, I had Oreos today!! Before I even realised what I was doing, I gulped down 4 of them. Gosh, I'm SO mad at myself right now.
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast + coffee (with splenda)
Lunch: green salad (no dressing; cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage)
Snack: 4 Oreos
Dinner: 4 Steamed dumplings (veg)

So that's about 1100 Calories. If I hadn't eaten those stupid Oreos, I'd feel much better about myself. So I'm going for a super long walk now. 5 days till weigh in....

Not A Bad Start

Day 1 went pretty smoothly (doesn't it always). I had Special K (w/skim milk) and an apple for breakfast. Lunch was a veggie sandwich (no dressing, lots of fresh veggies: cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce) and dinner was a green salad (no dressing) with 1/4 papaya.
Add 1.8l of water and a diet cola (I'm trying to slowly get rid of my diet cola addiction - take away too much and I know I'll end up going off track).

To be honest, I don't know how many calories that is. But since I didn't have any dressing on my salad or in my sandwich, I'm guessing my day was moderately healthy (sans the cola).

I walked my dog for an hour today (brisk walking) and some mat exercises. :)

That's it about my day....I'm not ednos/pro ana/pro mia. But I'm not here to judge. I understand weight loss is a major issue for most women nowadays and everyone has different targets. I'm here to see mine through. My previous attempts failed because I was just starving myself (and then binging). But now I'm going to do it right.
Eat healthy and exercise!

Okay a little about me: I am an expat living in Oman. I love travelling, languages, movies, books and MUSIC. I've lived in the Middle East most of my life but I just returned after 5 years and none of my friends are in town. But even then, my colleagues at work are pretty nice and I get by....

So there you are, a little glimpse of Oman. Although I miss my 'real' home, Muscat is a nice place to be...

Firsts

Alright! This really isn't my first attempt at weight loss. I put on all the weight that I'd lost previously, more than a year back. And it's high time that i stop hating myself and start working on 'improving' things.

CW: 187lb
UGW: 110lb
Height: 164cm
Target: November 2010

I have a long way to go and I'm hoping that starting this blog will help me keep track of my weight loss as well as motivate me.

Target Intake: 1400Cals
Workout: 60mins (everyday)

Also, I am addicted to thinspo. So expect a ton of pictures! :)

My first mini goal is to reach 183lb by 27 November 2009.
